In a very unusual series of photos called Water Wigs, L.A. photographer Tim Tadder captures photos of bald men & women getting pounded with water balloons on the head.

The water flowing around their shiny jugs looks like their missing hair might if they were driving a car with their heads out the window.

Taken with a fast enough shutter and a skilled photographer, a picture of someone getting water thrown at them can look as good as these. They might not be the most practical hats in the world but they’re pretty damn cool looking!

Last year, photographer Tim Tadder’s Water Wigs photo series went viral, first with his images of bald men and then women. These shots made his bald (or bald-capped) subjects look as if they had hair made of water, and required incredibly precise timing.

The video above shows just how he did it, whilst the images below show the amazing results he produced.
