It doesn’t take much for the internet to take an idea and run with it, like it did with photos of Ivanka Trump staring, what could be interpreted as longingly, at Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.

The photos were from a roundtable discussion about women in the workforce that Ivanka sat in on with her dad, the POTUS, and Trudeau. Apparently the meeting was reportedly the handiwork of the president’s daughter.

According to the Guardian “Ivanka Trump marked her first foray into White House policy at a roundtable for female business leaders on Monday, as yet more retailers rushed to drop her clothing and accessories lines from their stores.” Ivanka made only a few brief public remarks at the top of the meeting. I wonder why that could be?

Because instead of focusing on the whole women in the workforce thing the internet, particularly twitter, decided to focus on the entirely fictional but nonetheless hilarious, budding romance between Ivanka Trump and Trudeau. The Canadian Prime Minister is essentially regarded as a Disney prince come to life.

So we got memes a plenty, with Trudeau cast as a handsome world leader who no woman can resist. Because along with Ivanka swooning over him, we also got some old photos of the Duchess of Cambridge getting all besotted, along with Emma Watson, even Donald Trump himself. It appears no one is safe from the Maple Fever.

The man’s got charisma, what can you do? Sure it might be totally childish but it’s the sort of thing the internet does best—and it’s very, very funny. Ivanka and Trudeau sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S–I-N-G…Ok, i’ll stop now.

Check out the fun below.
