You’re no doubt familiar with History channel series Ancient Aliens, if you’ve never watched the actual show you’re familiar with the meme the show spawned featuring alien expert Giorgio A. Tsoukalos.

Tsoukalos loves nothing more than explaining any unusual event as being the result of aliens. Because as everyone knows early earth civilizations were popular tourist tourist spots for passing flying saucers.

And if it’s on the internet (or the History channel) it must be true, right?

The TV series itself loves providing flimsy evidence for concept that ancient aliens visited earth a long time ago and are responsible for all manner of things, with evidence of their activities cropping up in Sumerian tablets and other ancient texts and objects.

While you may just wave your hand in the air at the show and go “whatever,” one man has taken it upon himself to debunk the series and take it to task in a three hour long documentary Ancient Aliens Debunked.

Chris White, who was himself a believer of the alien astronaut theory, explores and begins to disprove each claim made by the show, one-by-one, in his three hour long documentary.

White writes on the doc’s website:

I hope to demonstrate to you that they are not wrong on just some information, but on every single point where they assert the Ancient Astronaut theory to explain evidence. I also hope to demonstrate the often deceptive means they use to convey their ideas, which includes them fabricating evidence to substantiate their points.

I would like the reader to know that, unlike many skeptics of the Ancient Astronaut theory, I concede that something unusual in the ancient past could have occurred and that there are certain consistent themes in ancient mythologies that require good explanations. But I think you will quickly see that the Ancient Astronaut theories do not explain the evidence.

Believe of it what you will, but as every good alien conspiracy theorist knows Chris White could himself be an alien, sent to planet Earth with the mission to making all of us think that aliens aren’t real.

Just like the government and those people at Area 51 want us to believe. Yeah, it’s all making sense now.
