Every year with the arrival of The Geneva Motor Show, the picturesque and cosmopolitan Swiss city turns into one of the most significant stages for the international automotive industry. Name any supercar manufacturer of your dreams and you can be sure that their newest creation was premiered on the 87th Geneva Motor Show.

This prestigious car fair took place for the first time back in 1905 and today has become one–if not THE–most important motor shows worldwide. Of course, the show focuses on topics like smart cars, e-cars, as well as the presentation of the newest models of ‘regular‘ cars from the major European producers. However, the Geneva Motor Show is even more famous for displaying the newest supercars on the market, from small and exquisite supercar designers like Pagani to the latest top range models from the big European car manufacturers such as Mercedes AMG, McLaren, Renault & Co.

Some of these models, such as the new 2018 Audi RS 5 Coupe, are highly interesting for the US-market.

Geneva Motor Show 2017 – Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Geneva Motor Show 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast - 99.

Quite a fitting name for this beautiful successor of the legendary F12 Berlinetta. The name is not only a clear indicator what the lucky drive can expect form this red monster, but also a tribute to the Ferrari America V12 series, which were produced between 1950 and 1960; the last of these models was called 500 Superfast.

In short the Superfast pretty much stole the glory at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The 812 Superfast is Ferrari’s fastest road car ever produced – until today – 790 horsepower from the roaring V-12 engine propel this beauty in less than three seconds to 60 mph. If you find a suitable track, you might even manage to reach the maximum speed of unnerving 211 mph. That is if you can afford the 320.000 USD price tag.

The ‘Regera’ From Koenisegg – Not Super, But Mega

The Geneva Motor Show 2017 Regera From Koenisegg - 99.

The hybrid mega car “Regera” from Koenigsegg is Sweden’s answer to raw power matched with amazing grace and pure style. The makers say that their new car is specifically designed to be a luxury Megacar alternative to Koenigsegg’s traditional extreme, light weight, race-like road cars.

The twin turbo V8 combustion engine is combined with three electric motors. Putting the “Regera” in numbers: 1.500 horsepower and 1.475 pounds-feet of torque bring this beat to 60 mph in less than 2.8 seconds.

Only 17 seconds later the car reaches its top speed of estimated 249 mph. The price of this amazing car is just as impressive: it ranges around 2.5 million USD.

A USA Classic That Still Rules: The Ford GT 2017

The Geneva Motor Show 2017 Ford GT 2017 - 99.

The Ford GT 2017 is certainly one of the sexiest super cars ever manufactured. And seeing the latest version of this fantastic car at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 proves that this all American super car can easily compete with the big European brands. It is the fastest ever car the American manufacturer has ever produced.

Just check out the Ford Website and see for yourself what you can buy for an estimated 400.000 USD.

With a light yet powerful design, the GT gives you the purest driving experience. Just to get your excitement started, the 3.5 litre Eco-Boost V8 twin turbo engine puts out 645 horsepower and a maximum speed of 216 mph.

And much, much more.
