How do those superheroes keep up their superhuman physiques? Well, this series of illustrations, The Secret Lives of Superheroes, by Colombian artist Fulvio Obregon takes a humorous look at the possible healthy lifestyles behind the buffness. From working out down the gym to their diets we get a look into the private lives of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

The series, which also includes recipes, is a collaboration between juice maker Plenish and Obregon. “We wanted to celebrate the release of Batman Vs Superman in a fun and clever way.” says Robbie Kendo from Plenish. “Plenish specialise in healthy juices and so we wanted to imagine how these superheroes would stay in shape on their days off. Do they cook? How do they relax? Does Superman wax?!”

So we get to see Wonder Woman making courgetti or meditating while surrounded by her favorite comics, or Batman doing his weekly shop down the grocery store.

“We knew Fulvio from his ‘Me & My Other‘ illustrations last year and were very keen to work with him.” notes Kendo. “We knew his style of illustration would help to provide a glimpse into the private lives of these iconic characters!”

Along with giving a glimpse into these characters’ lives, the images are also full of easter eggs which any comic fan worth their salt should be able to spot.
