At 10 years old you might wish you could get into a nightclub but it’s not something that’s ever going to happen. Still, doesn’t mean you can’t try. In the words of Stephen Kaggwa, “Try and fail, but don’t fail to try.” And that’s exactly what young Jensen attempts in this prank video by YouTube channel whatever.

Much like everywhere else, to get into the bars and clubs of Santa Barbara, California you need to be at least 21 years old. Armed with his Costco card as ID and using one dollar bribes on the bouncers, Jensen tries his luck.

And, well, no one’s having any of it. Because there’s no way on earth this kid looks 21. He looks like he’s 10 years old, at a push maybe 10 and half. But Jenson doesn’t let a few simple refusuals dampen his spirits and make him quit, he does as the old English proverb says, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

And try he does, telling fellow queuers that he’s 23 and using the old classics “But my friends are in there!” and “My driving license is in my Ferrari.” The bouncers are having none of it though, but they’re very nice about it all.

Some of them begin complimenting him on how nice he looks in his smart clothes, others even offering to buy him a drink at the bar, if he comes back when he’s 21.

Basically everyone’s very accommodating and pleasant to him. Let’s just hope he was back home tucked up safely in bed come kicking out time though. Because that’s when things get real ugly.
