Sometimes it takes more than words to convey your inner-emotions when you post a status update to Twitter, and believe it or not help is at hand from the distant past that will get the message across.

There’s a social media account you need to follow if you haven’t already. It’s called Twitter Medieval Reactions and it posts medieval paintings with hilarious captions relating to modern life and the problems we all face.

Problems like, when you’re with a friend who’s had too much to drink and starts throwing up. Or the pain of when you think of an exceptionally good tweet but then realise it won’t fit in the 140 character limit.

It’s good to know that your ancestors have got your back.
