Depending on how you feel about director Zack Snyder, you’re probably either really excited for or really not looking forward to the upcoming DC superhero action behemoth Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Or maybe you just feel nothing for it.

Either way you’re definitely going to like this madcap fanmade version of the film’s trailer by YouTuber Aldo Jones. Prepare yourself for things to get strange. very strange.

It takes things to another dimension of weirdness, turning what was a normal action-y trailer designed to get people hyped for the movie and salivating at its arrival, into something bizarre and leftfield that could only come from the internet.

And you’ll be grateful that it did.

Throwing in all kinds of pop culture references we get Mario, Donkey Kong, Miley Cyrus, cartoon characters, Superman turning into the Joker, derpy faces, along with lots of visual gags and goofing around.

It’s nothing short of inspired—and if the film is half as much fun as this then that can only be a good thing.

And if you’ve forgotten what the original trailer looked like, or just want some sense of normal in your life again take a look at it below.
