‘Engrish, Engrish everywhere!’- It’s pretty much a certainty that if you travel abroad to a foreign country as a tourist where the native language isn’t the same as yours that, when it comes to selling you dirt-cheap clothing, especially tee shirts, it makes sense to put a slogan on it that you can read. If only it was that easy.

The corruption of the English language by native speakers of some East Asian languages does make for some highly amusing ‘mistakes’ in translation, errors that even Google translate would look down upon, it defines the saying ‘if you buy cheap, you get cheap’.

But on rare occasions the boundaries of ‘Engrish’ are pushed so far that something new emerges, something beyond the realm of just bad spelling, something that transcends into an arena of Zen-like proportions where the quotations are so obscure that they would instantly hit the radar of any serious Instagram user.

Yes people, some people would gladly covert these treasures and post them on their Instagram page with the sole purpose of impressing their friends to the point of envy.

For the rest of us here are 24 examples of pure jibberish that define ‘So bad they’re good’.
